CHICILON MEDIA JOINS HANDS TO SUPPORT CENTRAL VIETNAM
Over the past two weeks, widespread storms and flooding have occurred in the provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, and Thua Thien-Hue, causing loss of life, damage to homes, crops, and livelihoods. Many areas have been cut off and isolated, impacting the daily lives of the people.
In this context, Chicilon Media staff have come together to contribute a small part of their hearts and sharing to support those affected by the floods, helping the community quickly restore production and stabilize their lives. This activity continues the tradition of mutual support and compassion that has always been evident in the company’s previous social activities, such as supporting children with congenital heart disease, underprivileged children, and activities to combat Covid-19.
On November 2, 2020, representatives from Chicilon Media donated 10 tons of rice to the Vietnam Red Cross Society to timely assist families affected by the floods. Through the Vietnam Red Cross, the company aims to share the difficulties faced by people in Central Vietnam.

"Regardless of the circumstances, we will promote solidarity and support one another. Whenever the community faces challenges, we will immediately lend a hand and drive social development," said Mr. Guo Zhi Feng, Chairman and CEO of Chicilon Media.
Empathizing with those in difficult situations during the storm season, Chicilon Media has also directly provided cash assistance to families in need, such as the family of a woman in labor who was swept away by the floods in Hue, and the family of a one-year-old child whose parents were lost in the floods while caring for their child in Quang Nam. Additionally, for a case involving an employee whose family lives in the flood zone, the company has allocated funds from its charity fund to support and encourage the employee. This reflects the company's concern and support for its staff.
Chicilon Media continues to call for support from employees and the community to share the burden with Central Vietnam. Every contribution is a part of love, and each small action symbolizes great hope. This hope will provide limitless strength to help those in disaster-affected areas of Central Vietnam overcome difficulties and ensure that relief efforts are successful!
