On March 23, the "Run for the Heart 2024" running competition was held at Yen So park (Hanoi). The competition is the highlight of a series of continuous fundraising programs "Run for the Heart 2024" that has been implemented since mid-January with many activities, attracting attention from the public. This is an annual charity activity jointly organized by Gamuda Land and the "Heartbeat Vietnam" program of the VinaCapital Foundation, with the goal of raising funds to sponsor surgeries for disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects in Vietnam.

Statistics show that Vietnam records about 15,000 children born with congenital heart disease each year, mostly in disadvantaged families. Care and treatment-related costs can make families lack resources, negatively impacting members' quality of life, education, and health care, as well as exacerbating financial difficulties.

VinaCapital Foundation's program is committed to covering all treatment costs for pediatric patients, supporting them to regain their health and develop their potential, thereby creating opportunities for their families to become financially independent and be able to contribute to the society. According to the survey, 68% of families receiving assistance have successfully escaped poverty.

Chicilon Media is proud to participate as a Gold Sponsor for this meaningful event. In Chicilon Media's series of community activities, the company also accompanied the program "Heartbeat Vietnam" in the fundraising event "Scars of Life" with a donation of 22,000 USD, helping 33 children with congenital heart disease get surgeries.

Over 9 seasons, "Run for the Heart" has raised a donation amount of up to 40.6 billion VND, supporting 1,549 pediatric patients with the opportunity to have heart surgery.

This year, the run has a theme called "Run with Rhythm, Help with Passion", using music to connect the runners with "music stations" throughout the running route with the participation of many singers.

The run this year is specially designed with 2 distances so that runners of all ages can participate: 3km (Fun Run) suitable for families with children, and 10km (Pro Run) for both amateur and professional athletes.

The program recorded nearly 5,000 registered participants, and received the support and companionship of many sponsors. More than 40 employees of Chicilon Media attended the run to support fundraising.
