The Q1/2025 market report released by Kantar Media Vietnam paints an optimistic picture of the effectiveness of Digital Elevator Media (DEM). Among the findings, Chicilon Media continues to assert its pioneering role with a powerful screen network, ideal user reach, and superior advertising performance compared to other media channels.

    Market Leadership Reflected by Numbers

Chicilon Media currently owns 32,800 digital screens across five major cities. Notably, it commands a remarkable 90% market share in effectively utilized advertising space in standard buildings in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, leaving only 10% to other providers.

This market advantage does not come by chance, but from a strategic, methodical approach: Chicilon Media carefully selects screen placements in elevator lobbies and cabins to ensure that content appears at eye level, in the viewer’s natural line of sight, and in locations with the highest user attention—ultimately maximizing impact. Chicilon’s strategy diverges from competitors by focusing on optimal placement standards to ensure every advertising dollar delivers maximum return.

Targeting the Right Audience and Driving Conversions

A broad survey of 1,600 users—comprising office workers and residents of high-end apartments in the two major cities—revealed that the audience of DEM in buildings represents a “golden group” for most brands. These viewers typically have high educational backgrounds (86% with college/university degrees or higher), high income (94–95% with household income and average spending over 12.5 million VND/month), and 55% are key household purchase decision-makers. They also wield considerable influence over other consumer segments.

This audience falls into the “prime age” group that many brands seek to target.

With an average of 6 elevator trips per day and a total daily elevator exposure time of around 17.9 minutes, this group frequently encounters elevator advertisements and possesses strong purchasing power along with stable consumption habits.

According to the latest Nielsen IQ survey on DEM conversion rates, 92% of respondents said they had purchasing intentions after viewing ads on elevator screens—a striking figure compared to other advertising platforms.

Chicilon Media not only reaches the right audience but also generates clear communication impact. According to Kantar Media’s report, 99% of users saw elevator screen ads in the past three days. Among them, 82% remembered the advertised product category, 87% paid attention to lobby screen ads, and 80% recalled in-elevator content—a near-perfect retention rate. These results stem from the high ad frequency and the favorable, close-range viewing environment, where distractions are minimal, enabling viewers to passively absorb and remember the messages.

In addition to reach effectiveness, 69% of surveyed users rated Chicilon Media’s content as trustworthy, accurate, and non-intrusive, while 62% found it to be a helpful source of shopping information. These positive perceptions are especially notable amid a flood of misleading or disruptive online advertising content.

In an era when consumers are overwhelmed by information, reaching them at the right time with the right message is the key to brand recall. With its robust digital elevator media ecosystem and exceptional advertising efficiency, Chicilon Media has become the premier choice for brands seeking modern, smart, and distinctive media campaigns.
