On June 4, 2021, at the office of the Ho Chi Minh Fatherland Front Committee, Mr TANG KHANH HIEN - CFO of Thien Hy Long Vietnam Joint Stock Company (Chicilon Media) gave a donation of 1 billion VND into the COVID-19 vaccine fund to buy a vaccine against the epidemic.

From the early days of the pandemic, Chicilon Media has always closely followed the fight against the epidemic of the Vietnamese people, using practical actions to fulfil the responsibility and mission of the business. Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr Guo Zhi Feng said: "We hope that through this contribution, we will make an impact and call on businesses in Vietnam to join hands to fight the pandemic."

 

 

Mr Guo Zhi Feng added: “This fourth unexpected outbreak has seriously affected people's lives as well as economic development, creating more burdens for the government and society in the fight against the epidemic. Whether people are vaccinated against Covid-19 promptly or not has a direct impact on the health of the entire population as well as the economic development of Vietnam in the future. Foreign-invested enterprises should join hands to contribute, share the burden with the government, and contribute in bringing vaccines to all Vietnamese people."

 

 

According to information shared from business representatives, from the early days of the Covid-19 epidemic, Chicilon Media has quickly taken action. The company’s BOD seriously discussed during the epidemic period: What Chicilon Media should do and how to do it? Immediately implemented a large-scale campaign "Together with the country to repel the Covid-19 epidemic" on all existing communication channels of the Company, with a communication value of up to 3 million USD. The content of urging people to regularly wash their hands, wear masks, limit going out, go to medical facilities, etc., were broadcast continuously on more than 23,000 screen devices at more than 2,300 buildings, nearly 40 supermarkets, 14 airports nationwide.

Over the past year, the Company has launched 2 times to donate supplies and equipment to frontline doctors and nurses in the fight against the epidemic, spread positive energy to businesses across society, contribute a significant part to the country's fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.
