EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY

    On the morning of 24th June 2017, at Deawoo hotel, Hanoi, the first national scientific talk with the topic “EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY” was held by Chicilon Media JSC with the participation of over 150 representatives who are marketing experts, company owners, marketing directors coming from the most reputed companies in their markets, and the City Pharmaceutical Association.

     During the conference, the speakers present their opinions about the current situation of pharmaceutical industry on various points of view to clarify and analyze some important points of the industry, and eventually suggest a new marketing development plan for companies to boost the growth of pharmaceutical industry in the following years via two topics: “THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY” and “EFFECTIVE MARKETING COMMUNICATION STRATEGY – FOR PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY”. The talk was performed by Lê Văn Truyền – Former Deputy Minister of Health and Dr. Phạm Hưng Củng – Former Director of Traditional Medicine Agency – Minister of Health.

   Mr.Guo Zhi Feng – Chairman & CEO of Chicilon Media – one of the speakers claims: “I realise that the Vietnamese pharmaceutical market is showing signs of positive development. With that opportunity, promoting communication and developing effective marketing plans must be a top priority for pharmaceutical businesses.      With an overview of the pharmaceutical market from general to details, the speakers have tackled the issues of setting up an effective communications strategy. This is a combination of traditional and digital media channels, typically LCD and Digital Frames in office buildings and airports. According to Savills Vietnam report, in the Vietnamese market, there are currently up to … pharmaceutical companies, in which, more than 70% of these companies have been operating in the centre of large cities. Thus, the access to advertising through Digital Frame in the elevator has become increasingly popular and favored. The target audience of  Digital Frame advertising is mainly the core force of society, aged 18 to 47 and accounted for 96% of the population. Most of them are highly educated people (86% of colleges and universities) with the income in class A, B (from 7.5 million to 75 million per month) and high consumption level. This is also the key customers who must be targeted by pharmaceutical companies.


    During the conference, the guests also share their thoughts and ask the marketing experts many questions related to the pharmaceutical industry such as investment direction, marketing strategy, opportunities and challenges for the industry in 2017 and the following years.
